Xiaomi SU7 Max Breaks Records: 4,264 km in 24-Hour Endurance Test! 🚗⚡ (2026)

Xiaomi's Next-Gen EV: A Record-Breaking 24-Hour Endurance Test

Xiaomi's electric vehicle (EV) division, Xiaomi EV, has achieved a remarkable feat with its next-generation SU7 electric sedan. In a 24-hour endurance test, the Max variant of the SU7 covered an impressive 4,264 kilometers, setting a new record for mass-produced vehicles in this category. This achievement surpasses the previous record set by Xpeng's updated P7 model, which managed 3,961 kilometers in a similar test.

The test, conducted in Yancheng, Jiangsu province, eastern China, showcased the vehicle's exceptional performance and range capabilities. During the test, the SU7 Max reached speeds of up to 240 kilometers per hour and operated continuously for 24 hours, including charging time, pushing its limits to the maximum possible range.

Xiaomi's V6s Plus motor, capable of 22,000 rpm and supporting a top speed of 265 km/h, powers the SU7 Max. Built on an 897-volt silicon carbide high-voltage electric platform, it houses a 101.7-kWh ternary lithium battery, boasting a peak charging rate of 5.2C and an 835-kilometer CLTC range per charge.

This achievement is a testament to Xiaomi's commitment to innovation and its goal of challenging the boundaries of electric vehicle technology. With the SU7 Max, Xiaomi EV is positioning itself as a strong competitor in the market, offering a compelling alternative to established brands like Tesla.

Xiaomi EV's Journey

Xiaomi EV, established in 2021, has made significant strides in the electric vehicle market. The company officially launched its first model, the SU7 electric sedan, on March 28, 2024, targeting Tesla's Model 3. This was followed by the launch of the SU7 Ultra on February 27, 2025, a performance-enhanced electric sedan based on the standard SU7.

In June 2025, Xiaomi expanded its product line with the YU7, its first electric SUV, competing directly with the Tesla Model Y. The company's rapid growth is evident in its sales figures, with 411,837 vehicles delivered in 2025, bringing cumulative deliveries to 551,308 units.

Looking ahead, Xiaomi EV plans to launch four new models in 2026, entering the extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) segment for the first time. The company aims to deliver 550,000 vehicles in 2026, representing a significant 34% growth from its 2025 sales.

The Future of Xiaomi EV

Xiaomi's success in the EV market is a result of its innovative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable electric vehicles. With the SU7 Max setting new records and the company's expanding product line, Xiaomi EV is poised to become a major player in the electric vehicle industry, offering consumers a compelling and sustainable transportation option.
